Blakedown Recognised in HortWeek's Top 20 Landscape and Maintenance Contractors

 

Blakedown Landscapes and Blakedown Sport & Play have been recognised in Horticulture Week’s Top 20 Landscape and Maintenance Contractors in the UK. Coming in at 19 and 20 respectively, as the biggest players (and the biggest risers) in the UK’s landscape construction and maintenance sectors.

Blakedown Landscapes’ growth success can be attributed to our focus on large-scale park restoration and historic refurbishment projects, as evidenced by schemes such as Greenwich Park Revealed, Victoria Park, Richmond & Bushey Park Restoration, and Hainault Country Park. Our dedication to delivering excellence has not only resulted in repeat business opportunities but has also enhanced our success in securing new projects through competitive tender. In addition, we have strategically invested in expanding our team, upgrading plant resources, and enhancing our knowledge base to ensure that we maintain our current competitive position in the industry moving forward.

Blakedown Sport & Play's exceptional growth  is a direct result of our focus on delivering excellence across multiple key frameworks such as CPC’s Synthetic Sports Facilities Framework and ESPO’s Outdoor Playgrounds and Sports Facilities Framework, as well as the successful delivery of Lots 2 and 8 on the Lawn Tennis Association’s  Parks Improvement Framework,   With a commitment to exceeding expectation with high quality work in both the public and private sector on key projects such as Emanuel School, Shrewsbury School and Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust, we have consolidated our position as a major player and achieved our strategic revenue goals.

Blakedown Landscapes and Blakedown Sport & Play was additionally recognised as some of the biggest rises with large increases in turnover. Blakedown Landscapes moving from 25th place to 19th with a 92.3% increase in turnover, and Blakedown Sport & Play moving from 28th place to 20th place with a 112.9% increase in turnover.
