It is hoped this scheme will improve air quality and reduce noise in the school, which is adjacent to a very busy road. Acoustic fencing at high level, sleeper retaining walls, trellis and a pergola all serve to brighten the playground, with ivy screens and soft planting greening the space and hopefully impacting on noise and air pollution.
